2010 Uptown Art Fair
The Uptown Art Fair is the second most attended event in the state Of Minnesota, averaging 375,000 guests. Each year, the fair has a new theme in which all the marketing, advertising, and planning revolves around. This year, it was “Urban Experiences.” I wanted to show my love for collage, so that is how I developed the graphic concepts for the fair.
I used various kinds of textured paper, paint, newspaper clippings, tea, and personal drawings. I incorporated the collage feel through several media, such as invitations, posters, bus shelter advertisements, newspaper and magazine advertisements, and apparel.
